Ready, Steady, Sew…Next Steps for your sewing machine skills

This session with Claire Salmon moves on from setting up your sewing machine to exploring some of the accessories that you may find tucked away in the bag of ‘bits’ that came with your machine, so if you’ve ever wondered what they are for, today’s the day to find out more!

The session will focus on four really useful sewing machine skills which have a wide range of applications for craft projects, soft furnishings and dressmaking.

Using zig-zag and overcasting stitches, creating buttonholes, inserting zips, blind hemming.
