I’m Mags, and I started this shop with one simple idea in mind: to create a warm and welcoming space for people who want to slow down, try something new, and feel proud of what they make.
Patchworking has always been more than just a hobby to me — it’s therapy, community, and a creative escape from the busyness of everyday life. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have a lifetime of stitching behind you, you’re welcome here.
What You’ll Find Inside
I’ve moved from my old premises in Newent to a lovely little studio in Staunton. It is full of colour, inspiration, and carefully chosen fabrics that I personally love to work with. I stock everything from classic prints to contemporary designers, pre-cuts to kits, and all the bits you need to get started — without feeling overwhelmed.
I also run small, relaxed workshops, ideal for anyone who’s just starting out or returning to patchwork after a break. You’ll never be made to feel silly for asking a question — in fact, I love questions!

What I Believe
You don’t need to be an expert to start. You just need a needle, a bit of fabric, and someone to show you the way.
Creativity is for everyone. No judgement, just encouragement.
Finished is better than perfect. And your first quilt will always be your favourite.
Why I Do This
