I teach a beginner’s patchwork & quilting course three times a year. In this weekly course you will make a quilt from start to finish, learning the basic skills you need to make a quilt using your sewing machine.
I will run half-day workshops on individual projects such as making bags, cushions and memory bears. If you want to be informed of upcoming class dates and details, please sign up for my newsletter by sending your email address to me at mags@thepatchworkbasket.co.uk
There are regular weekly classes at the studio – I run a hand sewing class on Wednesday afternoons. On Thursday and Friday mornings there are groups who work on a variety of projects with my tuition.
I also have sit n sew sessions (with no tuition) where you can bring your own sewing project and sit, sew and chat with a cuppa. These are on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. I also have a sit n sew once a month on a Saturday.
As well as classes at the studio, I visit other groups to teach at their venues. I am available for one-day or half-day workshops. Please contact me to discuss.
